Yes, folks, we witnessed the coldest game in Ranger History at The Ballpark in Arlington. As the first pitch was thrown, the temperature read 38 degrees. Of course, when we purchased the tickets we had no idea winter was going to return. But, if you know Trey, you know there was no way we were wasting that money. He was set on us going, come rain, sleet, or snow.
We were freezing, but we had fun anyway. We got to see Sosa hit his first home run as a Ranger, and we beat the Red Sox 8-4! Thanks to the Dempsey’s for staying in good spirits despite the weather!
