First day of school!

Our first day back was today! Chloe and Jack are going to the same church program that they have been the last two years, so it was easy getting back in the swing of things!

Chloe is in a Transitional Kindergarten class (called TK) where the teacher uses the  Texas standards for teaching Kindergarten. Her teachers are both certified and there are only ten kids in her class, so this teacher-momma is excited about that, for sure! I think she is going to have a great year.

Jack is in the “twos” class with a teacher he had some last year. We all love Ms. Melissa and he had a great day- no accidents and all! YAY!

Oh my word, I love those two! I made the sign using this back to school printable and a frame from Hobby Lobby.

My first official day back was today, and I have another great group of interns! I am looking forward to a great year helping them become certified teachers. And I get to have an adult-only lunch, yay! Of course, we went to Chiloso! YUM.

I made gifts for Jack’s and Chloe’s teachers and they were a hit. Thank you, Pinterest!

Overall, I’d say it was a great day! Now we have soccer practice and then the season opener for the Cowboys! Fall has officially hit the Clemens’ household, if only the weather would recognize that! It was 104 today in Dallas. Seriously?!
