Hey y’all! I feel like we are finally back in our routine after that yucky stomach bug and then the crazy busy week we had last week. My mom and dad came in last Tuesday and they took Chloe home with them for the rest of the week! She LOVES spending time in San Angelo with my parents and her cousins. I missed her but it was nice to only have one kid for a few days! I feel like I have so much to share so I’m going to do bullets! Yay for bullets!
- Jack started WALKING!!! YAY!!! He took his first steps on Saturday the 17th. That day it was just 2-3 steps but now he’ll walk a few feet. I am a proud Mama and it is just so much fun watching him get so excited when he walks.
- We started serving in a new ministry at church. It is with seriously dating/engaged couples and I am so excited to be a part of it. We meet the couples that will be in our group on Tuesday night. I just know that the Lord is going to do great things in this new adventure.
- We went on a date Friday night to see Moneyball. Loved that movie, but hated that we sat right in front of a couple that talked through the entire movie. Well, the first half anyway, until the people around him (including us) asked them to be quiet (or in my case, I turned around and said “Shhhhh!”. I know. I can’t believe I did it either but I could not hear the movie!!) They seemed annoyed that we wanted them to be quiet. Really?? Isn’t it a rule that you don’t talk in a movie? The guy was seriously talking in a normal volume, spouting off baseball stats and repeating things that Brad Pitt said in the movie. And, he would miss something {because he was TALKING} and the woman would repeat what he missed. Oh my word, y’all. I could not take it! Honestly, we have come in contact with some very inconsiderate people lately and it is just making me more aware of being thoughtful toward others in my actions.
- The Aggie game. No comment.
- I ran EIGHT miles yesterday!!! YAHOOO!! I can’t believe we are just 2 months away from the 1/2 marathon. It has been so nice since the weather has cooled off in the mornings. So, we are moving right along with our training and plan on running our next big run at White Rock with some friends. I ran the eight miles by myself and by mile 6 I was in desperate need of a friend! I am getting BORED OUT OF MY MIND running for over an hour by myself!
- Yesterday Todd BROUGHT IT with a sermon from John 6 about Jesus being our bread. If you need encouragement through a trial or just have a few minutes to spare, it is worth your time. You can find it here.
- Ok maybe I will comment on the Aggie game. We totally fell apart. What in the world? All I have to say is we better BRING IT against Arkansas on Saturday. Or I am DONE for the season. Do you hear me??? DONE. {except for the Missouri game, but only because I have a ticket for that one}
- On a better Aggie note, we’re officially in the SEC! That makes all the more reason why we need to kick Arkansas’ tail on Saturday. Seriously.
Ok that’s it! I’ll be back this week with some exciting posts like: The Case of the Missing yet Found {But Ran-Over} Baby Doll and My Favorite {Super Easy} Crock Pot Recipes. Stay tuned & have a great week!

We were at that game! If you thought it was bad to watch at home where you could change the station, you should have been there in the almost 100 degree weather! Seriously depressing! The best part, of course, was the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band!
Oh no!! Poor thing! My husband was there too, and I know he was miserable. I am very thankful that I was able to turn it off! Hopefully we’ll do better this week!
B and I had a great time with Jack! He was so sweet and B had so much fun throwing the ball with him! I can’t wait to see all of you again soon!
Aw! Thanks so much for keeping him! I am so glad we have found a babysitter! YAY!
I’m so glad I get to see Chloe again… After all, she “hasn’t seen Ms. Aubrey in a very long time.” :) That girl cracks me up!
